I want to brainstorm how we create a useful drill for this:
- You need to throw ball at the wall. For HomeCourt to see you, the ball and the throw, it must be set up behind you (like our shot tracking feature)
- It means that the device can't show you the target. i.e. for this drill to work, you need to print out some numbered targets for HomeCourt to recognize. HomeCourt can call out numbers and you will throw ball at target. And then it can score you pass by accuracy and speed of ball hitting the target.
Would this work? Any other suggestions?

David Lee: I like it, but the only hard thing is, if you print out numbers or something like that, after only a few hits the paper will most likely rip

Luke Michael Taylor: Any chance you can do me a favor?
Instructions:
- Print out some big numbers (1, 2, 3) on a letter / A4 paper
- Stick it to a wall with some strong (duct?) tape.
- Have someone call out numbers and you hit the respective number.
Then:
- Is it fun? Does it has training value?
- How long can the paper last?
- It would be great if you can send me video of you doing the drill. My contact is at my HomeCourt profile: https://homecourt.app/profile?pid=911197942

David Lee: I tried it... only had sticky-tape/packing tape which still worked well... Even though you sent me your profile, I don’t know how to send you videos... but I filmed it under “dribbling drills” under my sons profile if you want to check it out.
I filmed my 8yr old, and my 5yr old doing it...
Video might not look like it, but where they were standing was centered with the #2 about 15ft back from the wall and the iPad was approx 27ft back from the #3 (Probably could have been further across)
They both liked it and are still playing it as I type this email haha.
The paper will actually last much longer then I thought. I do think it would teach really young kids how to pass more accurately, and if the drill was created properly for HC, you could implement it so it doesn’t just randomly generate calling out a number, but also could randomly generate different types of passes, such as chest, overhead, bounce passes etc
I know it depends on each kids skill set, but anyone over 10yr old I’d imagine wouldn’t get much out of it. My only other feedback is that it my be a push to actually get people to put the effort in to print and stick the targets up

Luke Michael Taylor: This is amazing input for us!
If it is not paper print out, we may need user to go through a set up process where they will show the camera location of the targets. This may be easier. User use whatever marker (chalk) to create those target, the app ask user to point out the target by putting the ball there. This way, we can save the trouble of having to print out anything.

I like that idea.
